AGROIPSA

We are an organization incorporated in the jatropha industry whose origins begin with the initiative to seek for an alternative to use pinion seed oil for biodiesel production.

AGROIPSA, has actually made an investment in the acquisition of lands, crops and agricultural machinery for the establishment of 1,500 hectares and continues to expand crop areas. By 2009, we will count with 500 hectares with irrigation systems and lower scale industrial equipment, and at this time we manage 70 hectares under irrigation.

The cultivation of Jatropha has the particularity of being highly noble in the sense that it does not require rich grounds for its development, and is in fact cultivated in deteriorated lands, of low commercial value, contributing to reforestation, restoration of grounds, improving de environment and capturing CO2.
